Running your hiring on playboox

From an empty workspace to deciding on candidates from your own assistant. Eight steps, in the order the studio walks you through them. The first six take an afternoon.

Create your workspace

Sign in at app.aiplayboox.com with Google or an email link. No password to invent, no card to enter.

First, claim your workspace name. It becomes your careers address, <workspace>.aiplayboox.com: the address where your roles live, and the address your assistant connects to in step 4.

Import the job you're hiring for

Already published this role somewhere? Paste the link to the posting. A real browser reads the page, and you watch it work. Or paste the whole text of the posting instead.

Either way, the posting lands on the sheet, and the hiring process the posting describes is drafted on the canvas, stage by stage. It's a draft: rename stages, add questions, reorder, delete. Nothing is published yet.

Starting from scratch? Give it just a title and you get the standard process to shape.

Decide who decides

Every decision step in your process names a person. That's the point of playboox: AI proposes, a named person decides, and everything is recorded with reasons.

So before you go live, put a name on each decision: who screens, who runs interviews, who makes the offer. Invite teammates by email; they sign in the same way you did. Candidates get an answer from a person, not from a filter.

Connect your assistant

Your workspace has its own connector address:

https://<your-workspace>.aiplayboox.com/careers
  • Claude: Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste your address.
  • ChatGPT: Settings, then Connectors, then Create, and paste your address. No create option? Turn on Developer mode under Advanced first.
  • Another assistant: any assistant that accepts custom connectors works; paste the address where connectors live.

You'll know it worked: the studio shows ✓ Connected as you@… as soon as it sees you.

Go live

The launch checklist walks you through anything still missing: a decision without a name on it, a stage without questions, an unconnected assistant. When the checklist is done, go live.

Your role is then live in two places at once: on your own careers address, and on the shared playboox jobs board, where candidates search from their assistants.

Review and decide from chat

You don't need the studio open to hire. In your connected assistant, ask:

Open my hiring review queue.

Your queue comes to you. You read each candidate's brief, decide with a reason, and schedule interviews, all in chat. Every decision lands in the record under your name, so the whole team can see who decided what, and why.

Test it first

Before real candidates arrive, run one through yourself. Try the candidate side in the studio starts a rehearsal application, marked [TEST] everywhere it shows up, so you experience exactly what your candidates will.

Test runs are free forever, and one click clears them.

What it costs

Free to run: jobs, teammates, and test runs are unlimited, forever. You pay $19 per complete application after your first 10 free, and $190 per hire, flat. The pricing page has the full breakdown, with the math on one hire →
