What counts, and what never does.
The bar is yours, not ours. An application counts only when it clears the submission gate you designed.
Counts
- A complete application: the candidate finished everything you asked for, and it reached your review queue.
- A hire: a candidate your team decided to bring on, confirmed by a named person.
Never counts
- Board views and searches. Candidates browsing your roles cost you nothing.
- Unfinished or abandoned applications.
- Test runs by your team. Always free.
The math on one hire.
Say a role attracts 30 complete applications and you hire one of them.
First role in a new workspace? The first 10 applications are free, so this one comes to $570.
For scale: job boards charge $10 to $30 per application, complete or not. Agencies charge 15 to 25 percent of first-year salary, which is $12,000 to $20,000 on an $80,000 role.

Fair questions about paying
What exactly counts as a complete application?
One that cleared your own submission gate: the candidate finished everything your process asks for, and the application reached your review queue. You designed the gate, so you decide what complete means.
What never counts?
Board views, searches, unfinished or abandoned applications, and test runs by your team. None of those ever appear on an invoice.
What about spam or low-effort applications?
You can ask for a credit on any application. A person reviews the request and answers you. No automated judging of people, on either side.
Do candidates ever pay?
Never. Applying is free for candidates, forever, and nothing about your billing touches them.

How do I cancel?
